Terms of service
Last updated: June 13, 2026
These terms govern your access to and use of the Instant.pub website and service. By using the service you agree to them. This is a starting template and should be reviewed by counsel before launch.
Using the service
You must be able to form a binding contract to use Instant.pub. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
Your content
You retain all rights to the documents and materials you upload. You grant us the limited rights needed to process, mark, store, deliver, and track those documents on your behalf. You represent that you have the right to distribute everything you upload.
Acceptable use
- Don't upload or distribute material you don't have the rights to.
- Don't use the service to infringe others' rights or break the law.
- Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or abuse the platform.
What the service does — and doesn't — promise
Instant.pub reduces the anonymity of shared copies through layered marking and tracking. It cannot make a file impossible to copy, and we make no guarantee that any document is leak-proof. The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law.
Beta
While the service is in beta it is offered free of charge and may change, be interrupted, or have features added or removed. Pricing described on the site applies at launch; we'll give beta users reasonable notice before any charges begin.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Instant.pub is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from the sharing, leaking, or misuse of documents you distribute.
Changes & termination
We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be posted here. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
